Gate Perp DEX New Year Challenge Event, participate to share 20,000 USDT

To welcome the 2026 New Year and enhance the user on-chain perpetual contract trading experience, Gate Perp DEX officially launches the New Year Challenge Event. During the event period, complete designated trading tasks or participate in price predictions to share a prize pool of 20,000 USDT. Rewards can be combined with other platform activities.

Event Duration: December 25, 2025 18:00 – January 10, 2026 23:59 (UTC+8)

Event One: New Year Trading Triple Challenge

During the event, users who complete the following three trading challenges on Gate Perp DEX will be considered to have completed the challenge tasks:

• Opening Challenge: Make your first trade on any perpetual contract trading pair;
• Exploration Challenge: Total perpetual contract trading volume reaches ≥ 1,000 USDT;
• Harvest Challenge: At least one trade results in profit during the event period (closing PnL > 0).

Reward Rules:

• Base Prize Pool: 10,000 USDT
• The top 1,000 users who complete all three challenges
• Each user can receive 10 USDT;
• Additional Prize Pool: 5,000 USDT
• If the total number of users completing all challenges exceeds 5,000,
• The excess users will share the additional 5,000 USDT prize pool equally.

Event Two: New Year Price Prediction Contest

During the event period, registered users can submit their predictions for the BTC/USDT perpetual contract index price at 00:00 on January 10, 2026 (UTC+8) via the event page form.

Participation Rules:

• Each wallet address can only submit one prediction;
• Submission deadline: January 9, 2026 23:00 (UTC+8);
• Participants must complete at least one perpetual contract trade during the event period;
• Predictions cannot be modified after successful submission.

Evaluation Rules:

• Rankings are based on the closeness of the predicted price to the actual index price;
• If the closeness is the same, the earlier submission time ranks higher.

Reward Rules:

• The top 200 users will receive rewards;
• Rewards will be distributed from the 5,000 USDT prize pool;
• The specific reward amount for each winner will be calculated and distributed based on final ranking.

Event Notes:

1. Participants must click the “Join Now” button on the event page to register and complete identity verification to receive rewards.
2. To ensure fairness, the number of wallets linked to a single IP is strictly monitored. Abnormal multi-account behavior will be considered a violation, and registration eligibility may be restricted.
3. All airdrops will be distributed within 14 working days after the event ends.
4. Net contract trading volume = opening trade volume + closing trade volume.
5. USDT airdrops for all tasks can be combined.
6. In the trading ranking competition, if none of the participants meet the minimum individual contract trading volume requirement, the corresponding airdrop rewards will not be issued. All users who meet the minimum trading volume will receive fixed reward slots in order of achievement time.
7. Please note that the real-time displayed rankings in the trading leaderboard are not filtered by individual minimum contract trading volume requirements and do not represent the final winners. The actual rewards will be based on the final verified list of winners.
8. “New Users” cannot create multiple wallet accounts under the same identity verification to participate in the event. Existing wallet accounts that are canceled will not be considered “new users.”
9. Gate reserves the right to cancel participation of any participants involved in fraud, manipulation, or deception, including but not limited to wash trading, improper matching, bulk account registration, or other abnormal activities. Suspected fraudulent activities such as pre-trade, order spamming, wash trading, or market manipulation will result in disqualification and forfeiture of airdrops.
10. Users participating in multiple activities during the same period can only receive one airdrop, which will be awarded based on the highest value. The platform reserves the final interpretation rights of these event terms.
11. In case of any discrepancy between the translated version and the English version, the English version shall prevail.
