#数字资产市场动态 【Trading Risk Warning 2025.12.25】
With the Christmas holiday approaching, global trading markets are experiencing a large-scale shutdown. Those holding positions and planning trades should prepare in advance.
First, let's look at Asia-Pacific. The Hong Kong stock market will be closed all day on the 25th and 26th, with both northbound and southbound trading suspended—this means many cross-border arbitrage opportunities will also be on hold. The Taiwan Stock Exchange will also be closed simultaneously. The Sydney Stock Exchange, Seoul Stock Exchange, India National Stock Exchange, and New Zealand Stock Exchange will also be closed, leading to a noticeable decrease in liquidity in the Asia-Pacific region.
Over in Europe and the US, the situation is even more intense. The New York Stock Exchange will be closed for a day, and major European exchanges such as London, Paris, Frankfurt, Milan, and Madrid will all be on holiday. The futures markets are following suit—CME's precious metals, crude oil, forex, and stock index futures will be suspended all day, and US Treasury futures are also halted. Intercontinental Exchange (ICE) Brent crude oil futures will also cease trading for the entire day. The Toronto Stock Exchange is no exception.
On the domestic front, the Ministry of Commerce's 4th regular press conference of December will be held at 15:00, potentially releasing some policy signals. Additionally, Bank of Japan Governor Ueda Kazuo has a speech scheduled, which could impact risk appetite for assets like $ETH.
Key reminder: Liquidity will weaken significantly during the holiday period, and volatility may unexpectedly increase. If you still hold positions during this window, you need to consider the risks carefully.
