Retail investors are really being pushed out now. We small investors should have recognized the reality long ago. Institutional entry is just like this, a gradual process of encroachment. Claims of differentiation are actually just marginalization. The opportunities in on-chain Meme coins are really not enough compared to the big cake of perpetual contracts. Cross-chain trading platforms are good, but the real beneficiaries are still the big players. It feels like 2025 will be a dividing line—either upgrade to professional traders or become the chives. This wave of strict regulation is actually a good thing for us small investors, at least it reduces some of the channels for being cut. Thinking about it, I’m almost used to this "being pushed out" rhythm, haha.
