A major news story is flooding the screens
Starting from January 1 next year:
Sending obscene messages to friends is illegal!
According to the latest "Public Security Administration Punishments Law" Article 80, you could also be detained for 10-15 days and fined up to 5,000 yuan.
So everyone must take this seriously; being cautious when chatting with friends in the future is not too much. To send explicit images, the other party must explicitly agree in advance:
I agree to receive obscene messages from you
This way, it won't constitute illegal behavior, let alone a crime. But there's one thing to clarify: can this "consent" be revoked?
For example, if a friend gives consent on the platform, and I send explicit images within 3 minutes, and he retracts it, what if he then uses this to threaten me? How can I counter this?
Don't think it's absurd; there are plenty of people in the crypto world capable of doing such things. 🤡
