River is really something, S4 has started. The total score is surprisingly lower than the score of the day.
I entered $River on the last day of S2, so strictly speaking, I can't be considered an early bonus player. I'm more like one of those who came in at the tail end to observe.
The real feeling of S2 is actually average.
The rules are not clear, the participation path is a bit chaotic, it's just testing the model.
I can do it, but I have no confidence. At that time, I was holding a small position and watching, afraid that if the rules change, all expectations would be gone.
It was only at S3 that River started to look like a normal project.
There is real TVL, satUSD is in use, and it's no longer just about brushing interactions.
But to be honest, the policy has changed several times in the meantime, which is clearly cooling down for the "撸毛党".
Some operations directly reduced profits, and at that time the community was actually resentful.
My review of S3 is:
The project is evolving, but the satisfaction points for ordinary users are declining.
It's not that money isn't being distributed, but that they have started screening people.
Now that S4 is open, the experience is even clearer.
It no longer wants to please everyone.
The core logic becomes three things:
Do you use satUSD?
Do you lock $RIVER?
Are you willing to stay long-term?
This set of things is actually not friendly for pure grinding.
The pace of returns is slow, and the rules are relatively strict.
But the benefit is that at least it has stopped jumping back and forth.
From the perspective of an old user,
River is not the kind of project that suddenly makes you rich,
but rather start from S3 and converge towards stability and sustainability.
I am still here now because it hasn't changed direction chaotically again,
But to say it's a mindless recommendation? Not really.
More like:
You accept slow, accept lock, accept long-term participation,
Then it might be suitable for you;
If you want to get in and out quickly, you will likely be disappointed.
