#机构比特币持仓策略 I just saw the news that USDT has been recognized as a "fiat reference Token" in Abu Dhabi, a bit confused? Me too 😅
In simple terms: USDT has now gained formal status within the regulatory framework in Abu Dhabi, allowing licensed institutions to conduct transactions and custody operations there. It sounds like it’s far away from us, but what does this actually mean?
Institutions are starting to use USDT as a more formal asset. In other words, large funds and institutions can now use USDT for cross-border settlements and payments with greater confidence. Will this affect us small retail investors? I feel this is a good signal— the higher the regulatory recognition, the more stable USDT will be, and we will feel more secure when using it for hedging or trading.
However, what I care most about is whether this will affect the USDT deposits and withdrawals on the exchange? Can anyone explain to me what impact the increase in institutional holdings strategy will have on the coin price in the short term? Or is this kind of good news mainly beneficial in the long term?
