Is the Fed's rate cut in December doomed? The probability soared from 50% to 70%!

The U.S. employment data will not be fully available until after the December Fed meeting, and the key data gap has increased policy uncertainty.

In addition, the minutes from the October meeting revealed significant disagreements among officials regarding continuous rate cuts. Now, CME data shows that the probability of holding steady in December is nearly 70%!

Personal opinion: With data missing and internal divisions as a double buff, the Fed is very likely to maintain stable interest rates in the short term, leading to a phase of volatility for risk assets such as cryptocurrencies and US stocks. It is advised to be cautious when chasing highs in trading.
