The Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) has conducted inspections on 34 crypto ATMs in the UK this year, disrupting 26 machines operating unlawfully. The FCA, along with law enforcement agencies, warned the public that using these ATMs is illegal and offers no consumer protection. Despite these warnings, there are still 10 crypto ATMs operating in the country.
