Wu said that according to Delphi Digital research, Strategy converts fixed income capital efficiently into spot BTC buying pressure through STRC floating rate perpetual preferred shares (par value $100, current dividend yield 11.5%, for the 7th consecutive month in March). During the week of March 9–15, ATM issued and sold approximately 11.818 million shares, raising a net of $1.1804 billion (most of the total financing of $1.5764 billion that week), and bought 22,337 BTC, setting the largest weekly purchase record in 2026. Since its launch in July 2025, STRC has become its core tool for BTC accumulation, with a single-day peak funding over 4,000 BTC and a weekly maximum of over 7,000 BTC, far exceeding daily new mining supply. However, the annual dividend obligation has approached $1.05 billion, and the high proportion of preferred shares brings significant dilution and cash flow pressure to common shareholders.
