Gate Code is used to transfer assets between Gate accounts in a fast, free way. By submitting the code on the “Redeem Gate Code” page, the asset will be credited instantly. If you withdraw assets with Gate Code, you can also return them to your Gate account balance by submitting the code on the "Redeem GateCode" page: https://gate.com/myaccount/deposit_gatecode .
Things to do for each party:
For the withdrawing party: obtain the GateCode on the GateCode withdrawal page.
For the depositing party: redeem the GateCode on the GateCode deposit page.
How to get a Gate Code
1.Log into your Gate account. Click "Assets" - "Funds Management" - "Withdraw" - "Internal" - "GateCode".
2.Enter a withdrawal quantity and click "Next"- "Confirm".
3.Double-check the information before entering the fund password, SMS code, and Google Authenticator code, and then click "Confirm".
4.Having completed the withdrawal, you will see a popup window where you can save the GateCode as a QR code image or click the copy icon to copy it. 
5.Alternatively, you can view the full Gate Code on the "Recent Withdrawals" page by clicking the view icon behind the address of the withdrawal record. You will be required to enter the fund password to proceed.
How to use a Gate Code
1.Log into your Gate account. Click "Assets" - "Funds Management" - "Deposit" - "GateCode".
2.Then you will see deposit details as shown below. You can choose to return to the previous page or deposit again.
Note
- Before sharing your Gate Code with others, please be sure to verify their identities. Never share your Gate Code with strangers.
- Gate does not provide trading channels for Gate Codes. Please be cautious when buying Gate Codes from other users. Trading GateCodes with strangers is never advised.
- A Gate Code consists of 2 parts connected by a hyphen. The first part can be used to check the denomination of the Gate Code or to lock the Gate Code. Payment could be made after the GateCode is locked. A full Gate Code is essential to complete the deposit. Please make sure that the GateCodes you plan to buy from other users are valid. You can verify and lock Gate Codes by submitting their first parts. To avoid a scam, payment is made only if the GateCodes are locked.
- If a Gate Code is not deposited within 2 hours after getting locked, it will be automatically unlocked and not be protected.
