Core Foundation releases 2026 roadmap: Reshaping the BTCFi value cycle with revenue and buybacks.
PANews, December 22, reported that the Core Foundation announced the preliminary roadmap for 2026, clearly focusing on “revenue-driven CORE buyback” as the core objective. The roadmap revolves around the BTCFi ecosystem, aiming to systematically convert Bitcoin activities into sustainable income through modules such as expanding Bitcoin staking yields, Asset Management Protocol (AMP), BTC LST, dual staking markets, SatPay new banking, ETF/ETP, DAT, and enterprise-level solutions, with continuous reinvestment into CORE buybacks. The Core Foundation emphasizes that the key transition in 2026 is moving from “showing returns” to “monetizing returns,” while reducing the reliance on token inflation and promoting CORE as the core value-bearing asset in the growth cycle of BTCFi.
