French Fintech Lyzi Brings Crypto Payments to Porsche, Lamborghini Dealerships
French fintech Lyzi is expanding its European footprint by enabling cryptocurrency payments at Porsche Centre Montpellier and Lamborghini Bordeaux, where customers can purchase luxury cars using bitcoin, tezos, stablecoins, and over 80 digital assets.
Dealerships Emphasize Innovation and Service
French fintech firm Lyzi has partnered with two luxury car dealerships—Porsche Centre Montpellier and Lamborghini Bordeaux—to enable customers to pay for high-end vehicles using bitcoin, tezos ( XTZ), stablecoins, and more than 80 other digital assets. These payments are instantly converted into euros, shielding dealerships from volatility while providing customers with a smooth wallet-to-terminal experience.
Jean-Pierre Launay, director of Porsche Centre Montpellier, underscored the dual importance of the decision to allow customers to pay with crypto.
“We wanted to offer our customers a purchasing experience that meets their standards, while integrating new financial practices. With Lyzi, we combine innovation, performance, and simplicity,” Launay said.
Thomas Hecquet, director at Lamborghini Centre Bordeaux, said that “accepting cryptocurrency is simply another expression of exceptional service and exclusive access to the extraordinary” that his company’s customers are accustomed to.

According to a media statement, Lyzi, which raised $1.51 million in April, has also partnered with Doctors of the World (Médecins du Monde) to launch a cryptocurrency donation platform. The initiative enables donors worldwide to support nearly 400 humanitarian programs across 80 countries.
Guillaume Cotillard, director of communication and development at Doctors of the World, explained that with a crypto market now regulated within the European Union (EU), the organization decided to experiment with digital donations.
“For several years, Doctors of the World has been diversifying its public fundraising sources to guarantee its independence of action. With a crypto market now regulated within the EU, we decided to launch this crypto donation experiment to better understand these new uses and their funding potential for the coming years. Our approach respects the ethical framework defined in our funding charter,” Cotillard said.
The collaboration between Lyzi and the humanitarian organization highlights blockchain’s potential to diversify funding streams for NGOs while adhering to strict ethical standards.
Since its April raise, Lyzi, which is powered by Tezos, has expanded to over 1 million connected payment terminals across Europe. CEO Damien Patureaux said the collaboration with brands like Porsche and Lamborghini demonstrates the extent to which cryptocurrencies are recognized outside Web3.
“Collaborating with iconic players like Porsche and Lamborghini, alongside humanitarian organizations like Doctors of the World, proves that crypto payments are no longer a trend but a reality,” Patureaux said. “We’re making cryptocurrency payments as simple as card payments while opening new possibilities for global giving.”
David Relkin, Head of DeFi at Nomadic Labs, emphasized Lyzi’s blockchain choice, noting that Tezos ensures rapid settlement and best-in-class security—essential for modern payment infrastructure.
With 2026 set as a pivotal year, Lyzi is preparing to roll out its solution internationally, aiming to make cryptocurrency payments as simple as card transactions while opening new channels for global giving.
